Modern VS Classic

New cars have minds of their own but no personality. They are total jobsworth's who's sole aim in life is to do what they are supposed to and no more. They certainly keep the driving experience free of enjoyment and won't let you forget they are in control. Even the comfort is only there so you will get more bored.

Old cars are more sporting. They, too, have minds of their own but they always give you a way round the obstacles they put in your way and encourage you to use your mind to find it. There is nothing you can't fix on an old car. Part of the fun with them is deciding what that new squeak is, why have the wipers/lights/engine (delete as applicable) stopped working? You can tune them with not much more than a voltmeter, a screwdriver and an ear that can detect when they are at their happiest. No computer required.
